MOON LAKE CASINO is about four characters from various
Tennessee Williams' dramas that have been killed off before the start of their plays.
The characters were major motivations to each of their perspective story's protagonist, yet they never got their own chance in the spotlight. They sit and wait at Williams' often mentioned Mississippi River speakeasy Moon Lake Casino. These ghosts are caught in a never ending purgatory playing cards, drinking and confronting each other on their so-called personal faults. They are waiting to meet their maker, who may never show up.
A film version of MOON LAKE CASINO is currently being produced by 6TRAIN PRODUCTIONS in Los Angeles,California.

WELCOME TO OUR PARLOR
PARLOR occured on January 3rd and 4th, 2009 in New Orleans at the Jazz and Heritage Center. At the event we presented the works of New Orleans writer/director Melanie Maria Goodreaux and writer/director/producer Charles E. Drew Jr. and featured New Orleans native actors and performers.
These original works have been performed in New York City, New Jersey and Los Angeles. We are very proud and excited to have introduced them for the first time ever in New Orleans!
PARLOR's intimate salon style setting is modeled after the literary salons of bygone eras. We aim to induce an intriguing dialogue and social exchange. And to have a good ole time!
